Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is the 5th in the list and a notable upgrade in both physics, graphics, and presentation over previous entries. Formerly published for Playstation 2 and PSP, the game has since been ported to Windows PC.
It’s essential as being the first of the series to give online play alternatives, formerly through PlayStation online and now over the internet. The game is nearing ten years old, it still plays reasonably well and is well worth watching into for football fans needing to play with the clubs and players of 2008.
The game adopts the same engine as in Pro Evolution Soccer 4, although there are numerous improvements: players will now also move properly around the pitch thanks to even more animations, you can play in even the freezing conditions, and even see breathing coming from players mouths.
The clubs and players have been modernized, and players can pick from one of three leagues, the Dutch, the Spanish, and the Italian, and all the teams therein.
More football, better than always, the gameplay has been improved to give a more lifelike version of the beautiful game: players use their upper bodies more in the challenge, have more skills at their disposal, and can now turn shots with pinpoint precision.
